The new premises will enable all the pupils and adults to study in a comfortable and secure environment, with all the latest educational support services and teaching aids.
The premises will be used for several and varied purposes:

Ash-Shifa Girls School
The girls’ school will be able to expand. The resources and facilities will allow the pupils to fully reach their potential and attain high academic standards.

Ash-Shifa Evening School
An evening school will be established to provide Islamic and moral education to those children who do not attend Ash-Shifa day school. This will operate a few evenings a week and pupils will focus on Islamic studies and Arabic. Pupils will have the option of sitting GCSEs in Arabic and Islamic Studies that will give them an extra two GCSEs and improve their prospects of going onto further education. The evening school will also offer supplementary classes to those children in the community requiring extra support in specific curriculum subjects.

Ash-Shifa Madrasa
The madarsa will convey the fundamental and intermediate Islamic Sciences in the English language and will focus on classes for adults and children. The madrasa curriculum will incorporate the following Islamic sciences; Fiqh, Aqida, Qur’an-Hifz and Tajweed, Ulum-ul-Qur’an, Arabic, Seerah of the Prophet (Peace be upon Him), Hadith and Tafsir.

Ash-Shifa Nursery
The Ash-Shifa Nursery will enable us to provide education and to develop pupils within an Islamic environment for children from the very beginning. The nursery will aim to provide a happy environment, where excellence is the norm and where children develop to the full.

Adult Education Courses
Various adult courses will be offered in Basic Skills, Information Communication Technology, Community Safety and English as a second Language. These courses will develop a greater self-confidence in adults, increase community participation, promote good community relations and the advancement of a multi-cultural society.
